All Members of Stanton under Bardon Parish Council Village Hall Management Committee are hereby summoned to attend the Parish Council Committee Meeting on Wednesday 30th October 2024 starting at 7:00pm at the Rear Meeting Room in Stanton under Bardon Village Hall, 2 St John Cole Crescent, Stanton under Bardon, LE67 9AE for the purpose of transacting the business shown below:

1.       APOLOGIES 

a.       To receive apologies for absence and to consider whether to approve the reasons given 

2.       DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST PECUNIARY AND NON-PECUNIARY 

a.       To receive declarations of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests and requests for dispensations in respect of items on the agenda 

3.       PREVIOUS MINUTES 

a.       To consider the adoption of draft minutes from Village Hall Management Committee Meeting held on 17th July 2024

4.       VILLAGE HALL IMPROVEMENTS

a.       To consider repairs to the outdoor lighting at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

b.       To consider installing a Mesh Wifi system at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

c.       To recommend to Council a PCIF application to refurbish the rear meeting room and install equipment to host a cinema at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

d.       To consider quotes for the purchase of a storage trolley for the soft play centre at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

5.       VILLAGE HALL HIRERS

a.       To consider a request for a hirer to temporarily store equipment in the rear storage room as when they hire Stanton under Bardon Village Hall during Summer 2025

b.       To consider revisions to the terms and conditions at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall 

6.       VILLAGE HALL PROMOTION

a.       To consider advertising campaigns to promote Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

b.       To discuss and consider hosting Council run events at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall 

7.       VILLAGE HALL RISK ASSESSMENT

a.       To consider the draft risk assessment for Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

b.       To consider the draft fire safety plan at Stanton under Bardon Village Hall

8.       VILLAGE HALL CONTRACTS

a.       To note new arrangement with East Midlands Fire and Security for alarm monitoring and servicing until October 2025
