All Members of Stanton under Bardon Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the Extraordinary Parish Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday 28th February 2024 starting at 7:00pm in the Meeting Room, Stanton under Bardon Village Hall, 2 St John Cole Crescent, Stanton under Bardon, LE67 9AE for the purpose of transacting the business shown below:

 

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION

The period of 15 minutes will be allocated to allow members of the public to raise any comments or ask questions to the Council

    1. To receive apologies for absence and to consider whether to approve reasons given

 

  1. DECLARATIONS OF INTERESTS PECUNIARY AND NON-PECUNIARY
    1. To receive declarations of pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests and requests for dispensations in respect of items on the agenda  

 

  1. PREVIOUS MINUTES
    1. To approve the adoption of draft minutes from the Parish Council Meeting held on 6th February 2024

 

  1. FUTURE COMMUNITY PROJECTS
    1. To consider quotations for the proposed village sign in Stanton under Bardon
    2. To consider the design and location of the proposed village sign in Stanton under Bardon

 

  1. COUNCIL INVESTMENTS
    1. To discuss and consider transferring the Council’s NFU Investment to CCLA Public Sector Development Fund

 

  1. STANTON UNDER BARDON VILLAGE HALL
    1. To consider transferring the management of Stanton under Bardon Village Hall to the Parish Council following the dissolution of Stanton under Bardon Village Hall Trust
    2. To consider appointing solicitors to oversee the cessation of the lease agreement following the dissolution of Stanton under Bardon Village Hall Trust

 

 

Members of the Public are welcome to attend the meeting, to ask questions and to comment on items within this agenda with the consent of the Chairman. In accordance with The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, photographs, audio and video recordings of the meeting and of those attending may be taken at the meeting by the press and others. You are invited to contact the Clerk of the Council if you have any questions or matters of concern that you would like the Council to address, allowing 5 clear days of the meeting date.
